The European campaign to end the siege said Tuesday that the next Freedom Flotilla aid convoy that will set sail in early August will help Gaza people to export the products they produce to the world. The campaign, a partner of the Freedom Flotilla coalition, stressed that it is determined to move forward in its anti-siege activities and send more ships to Gaza. When Israeli soldiers entered the embattled Palestinian village of Nabi Saleh on July 2, they were immediately confronted by over a dozen small children. While the IDF is accustomed to firing teargas canisters, percussion grenades, rubber bullets and even live .22 caliber ammunition at adolescent boys, members of the Nahal unit and Kfir infantry brigade tasked with suppressing the weekly Nabi Saleh demonstration were frustrated by the children who surrounded and taunted them. At one point, the division commander became so upset he barked into his radio, ?I need backup!?

Con esta frase, el Ayuntamiento de Lekeitio se refería ayer a los incidentes registrados esa misma noche en la localidad vizcaina y que se habían cerrado con varios heridos, uno de ellos de 84 años, y el arresto de ocho personas como consecuencia de los enfrentamientos con los agentes de la Ertzaintza. A renglón seguido, los mandatarios municipales no dudaban en responsabilizar de lo ocurrido a "los violentos", que se convertían más tarde en "los fanáticos" al ser calificados por el consejero de Interior, Rodolfo Ares.

The Foundation will be carrying out Ramadan activities in 60 cities of Turkey and 61 countries all around the world with a motto of ?Together, we can change the world?. Since the day it was established IHH has been delivering aid to those who are in need all around the world especially during the months of Ramadan. IHH?s aid teams will be working to flourish goodness throughout the world again during this Ramadan. Every Ramadan, for almost 20 years, the Foundation has been delivering food aid boxes and serving iftar (evening meals in Ramadan) to the poor, working to aid the poorer families and orphans.

AMERICA is still embarrassed by the infamous McCarthy Hearings which ruined the lives of thousands of innocents during the Fifties. Anyone then, suspected of being linked to communism was arrested, interrogated and either imprisoned or forced to give names of others suspected of communist tendencies. And so the fear and intimidation spread like a great plague across the USA. Names were blacklisted, careers and lives ruined as the authorities ruthlessly traded on peoples? fears, paranoia and weaknesses.
